Stock is locked as the order is placed
The stock for every item in the basket is locked inside the step that places the order. Two people buying the last lamp at once cannot both get it.
Payment goes to your account
Stripe or PayPal takes the payment on your own account. Card details go straight to them and never touch Elara One or your website.
A decline changes nothing
If the card is declined, there is no order and no stock change. Your storefront gets a clear decline code to show the customer.
Exactly one order
Each checkout carries an Idempotency-Key, so a retry or a double click can never place a second order. Promotion limits are checked at the same moment.
